Winter's Glow

NOMAATRA is a project dedicated to capturing the natural beauty of the northern Mátra Mountains and the picturesque landscapes of Nógrád County. 🇭🇺 In this episode, we capture a rare natural phenomenon from the heights of the Mátra. As a vast blanket of fog covers Hungary, only the highest peaks emerge above the mist. Arriving just before sunset near Galya-tető, we battled the drifting fog and challenging conditions, with our drone freezing and losing signal. Despite these obstacles, we managed to film stunning footage of the peaks - including Kékes - rising like islands from a sea of clouds.
